Skupina The Red Masque je originální avant rocková kapela z Philadephie. Skupina experimentálních písničkářů tvořících sofistikovanou hudbu s názvuky heavy rocku, zeuhlu, gotiky a kraut rocku. Jejich skladby by mohly sloužit jako doprovod horrorových filmů.

Skupinu založil v únoru roku 2001 basista a klávesák Brandon Ross a zpěvačka Lynnette Shelley. Jejich obsazení se postupně měnilo a hudba, kterou hráli na koncertech byla ovlivněna kapelami jako Magma, King Crimson, Hawkwind, Gong, Pink Floyd, Bauhaus, Art Bears a Van Der Graaf Generator. V roce 2001 debutovali EP deskou s názvem Death of the Red Masque. Tuhle desku následovalo v roce 2002 regulérní album Victoria And The Haruspex.
